Volunteers

Dream On has been blessed with many volunteers, contributing to the DOK’s success.  I am sorry if I have neglected to list everyone.

Denise Cunningham-Doggett is the Program Director at New Life Community and has a Masters Degree in Divinity from Ashland.  She is the creator and director of ACTS (Acting Christians Teaching Salvation).  Through this organization, Denise has written, directed and produced many plays, including The Old Rugged Cross and Encounter with Jesus. These musical plays were so popular they were repeated year after year. She is the creator and co-ministry leader of the Speak Life Ministries, a group of talented women who lead retreats and worship services. She plays the saxophone, flute and has a beautiful alto voice.

Susan Weber is the creator of the video on the home page of this web site.  She grew up as classical pianist, but as moved on to acoustic and electric guitar and has a beautiful alto voice. She is a singer, songwriter and performer, starting in the church and moving on to recording and performing with the acoustic group Harmony Girls and rock n roll group Monet!s Orbit. Her bands have recorded Cosmic Dust and Monet!s Orbit and she has been a part of many compilation CDs. Young Audiences of Northeast Ohio is graced with her songwriting and storytelling workshops. Walt Campbell has performed in many genres for many years. Acoustic guitar, harmonica, electric lead and bas guitar are all instruments he has mastered. He is the bass guitarist and vocalist with Susan Weber in Monet!s Orbit.  He retired from the administration at the Cuyahoga Court of Common Pleas and is now a full time artist and musician.  He runs a camera for the video taping.

Cerena Magnum is a professional musician playing the keyboard in the band, Eugene Ross and Company. She recently established the C-Note School of Music and Worship Arts where she teaches. She is also co-ministry leader of Speak Life Ministries with Denise. She graduated from Tri-C with an Associate of Arts Degree and is currently earning credits toward her Bachelor of Arts in Music Degree at Cleveland State University.  She has provided musical support for the Dream On Kids on numerous occasions.

Marianne Kerr is a CPA employed at ______________.  Sha also teaches accounting at Cuyahoga Community College and tutors at Notre Dame College of Ohio.  She developed and implemented the accounting system for the Dream On Foundation.

Marvella Donald is a Chemical Dependency Counselor.  She has helped with planning, paper work, and the Holiday Party.

Dream On Kids Parents help in many ways all the time.  Here are some good examples.  Heather Mills and her mother, Candy Ward and her adult daughter, Tanisha Hall and Chanetta Gant wrapped the holiday gifts.  Michelle Ballah, Detoya Bell, Chanetta Gant, Tanisha Hall, Nathan WItherspoon, Lydia Tyner and others helped decorate, prepare, serve and clean up for the Holiday Party.  Michelle Horn and Chanetta Gant assist with tutoring.  Christine Long provided snacks for the after school program.  Detoya Bell, Tanisha Hall and Candy Ward have provided transportation for the DOK.  And these are only the most recent instances.
