Board of Directors
Mary Conway is a homemaker, mother of three and grandmother of six. She is our newest board member, but has financially and spiritually supported our foundation since its inception in 2008. She, with Cathy Hyland, has organized and developed the annual fundraiser.
Reverend Debbie Gibbons is a minister, and was the pastor at Nottingham United Methodist Church for 13 years. She has extensive knowledge of the neighborhood, resources and grant opportunities.
Tanisha Hall is a Dream On Parent, the mother of Antonio Bridgit. Antonio has a brother, Andre, who is attending Euclid School in the 9th grade. Tanisha is employed at Cashland as a customer service representative.
Ann Hawkins is an attorney for Hawkins & Company, LPA. Her firm has donated in kind services to the benefit of the Dream On Foundation, including filing the Articles of Incorporation and the 990 required by the IRA yearly. She is the mother of seven between the ages of 14 and 26.
Cathy Hyland is a homemaker and mother of four. She has worked with various non-profit organizations (Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Miracle Fund at University Hospital, Catholic schools) and their fundraising events. Currently, she serves on the Loyola Board at St. Ignatius High School as a liaison with the Arrupe Neighborhood Connection. This program assists low income children in the neighborhood with after school tutoring and summer camp.
Ned Hyland is president of WF Todd and Assoc., an insurance agency. The Dream On Foundation purchases our Commercial and Directors and Operators Liability Insurance from his agency. He was married to his wife, Diana Hyland, for 26 years before she died in October, 2008. He has two children, Tara graduated from University of Miami and Brendon attending Notre Dame College.
Darryl Mapson is a Dream On Parent, the father of Jordan Bennett. Jordan has three siblings, one at Remington College, one at Skidmore College, and one at John Hay High School Early College Program. Darryl is an architect for Tribe Architecture Firm and his wife, Tara Mapson, is an engineer for Lumitex. Darryl also coaches baseball for Cleveland Baseball Federation.
Katie Sheridan is a registered nurse working on a cardiac step down unit at the Cleveland Clinic and Mim Conway’s daughter. She graduated from the Masters of Nursing Program at Case Western Reserve University in December 2103.
Lydia Tyner is a Dream On Parent, mother of Jalia Gaston-Tyner. Jalia has two siblings, Charlissa, a day care teacher, and Jerrod, a graduate of Shaw High School. Lydia works for Herritage Home Care as a home health aid for elderly and disabled persons.
Russell White is founder and program director at In Focus of Cleveland, three group homes located in the Nottingham neighborhood. His homes provide services in a home like environment to youth who are currently in the custody of surrounding counties and have been placed with the agency for residency, intervention and programming.
